COCONUT MACAROONS
Perfect easy to make sweet treat that hits the spot!
Light, golden, and irresistibly rich - these coconut macaroons are everything You want in one bite. Dipped in a delicious dark chocolate and made with just a few simple ingredients, they’re the perfect and easy to make treat.
I developed this recipe almost exactly a year ago when I worked for an amazing chocolate brand and I keep making it at home every time I want little something that hits the spot but is super quick to make and super delicious!
Hope you enjoy them as much as I do! Because coconut honey and chocolate is the ultimate combo! Right?
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup (90g) coconut shreds
2 tbsp honey heaped (or 3-4 tbsp maple syrup)
1tsp vanilla
2 egg whites
2tsp cinnamon
50g dark chocolate my favourite is always Carrés Sauvages
METHOD:
Place all the ingredients in a pot and heat over low heat for a few minutes, until the ingredients combine and become sticky.
Scoop into 6 parchment cups. Bake for 15-17 min at 180C - until golden brown. Remove and let them cool.
Meanwhile melt the chocolate, and dip each macaroon in the chocolate.
Place in the fridge for the chocolate to set and enjoy!
*You can easily store them in a glass container for a few day but I don’t think there will be such a need ;)
Best,
Mags :)

Looks so simplistic and delicious — love coconut!
